Ross Taggart has joined the Board of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

Ross replaces Dave Phelan as a representative of Surf Life Saving Australia. Dave provided a great deal of support and contribution and was a Director for 12 years.

Ross brings a wealth of knowledge in the accounting and business advisory role and is currently the President of Merewether Surf Club.

Service Chairman, Cliff Marsh OAM, welcomed Ross to the Board and was looking forward to him bringing another dimension to the board.

The Board of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a volunteer board made up of representatives of the community – from SLSA, local government, the business community and the miners.
